Name Your Poison!

"He has nothing else to do with his life", some people would say about me. But I like to laugh, I like a good joke, and I love to cram my head with useless facts and trivia. I also like to share useful information with friends, although I don't usually make a habit of it (having useful information, that is).

In other words, succumbing to the fact that email has become the old "office ditto machine" (some of you are too young to remember the old "blue ink" mimeograph machines that were used to reproduce jokes and such to pass around "under the table"), I have become a joke mail hub. Many of my friends and acquaintances send things to me all the time, and if I like them, or think someone else will, I forward them on to a rather large and growing group.

As you may know, I am not a very good judge of who wants what kind of material, or for that matter, whether they want to receive anything at all. To that end, I have created three mailing lists, which you can control by subscribing to the list, or, unsubscribing...your choice.

Mild will contain general information I think is worth passing on, as well as general humor that would be appropriate to expose most teens to.

Spicy is going to be just that: material of a more risqué nature, suitable for adults, or older teens.

Anything is just that: ANYTHING. It will normally contain items not for those with a low threshold for prurience.

This will make it much easier for me. I only have to "rate it" and send it to the appropriate list. You only need to subscribe to the highest level that you want to receive. If you subscribe to Spicy, you will receive whatever is sent to Mild, as well. But you would not receive material going to the "Anything" list.

I am no longer going to be able to send some pictures embedded in HTML. Images, for the most part, will be sent as attachments. Also, I used to make it a habit, or tried to, anyway, of omitting from the "To" list, the person who sent me the mail to begin with. Alas, if you send me something, and I forward it, you will most likely get it back in the list from me. Unless you are not subscribed....sorry.
